I've been fortunate to see quite a bit of the world over the years. I've traveled extensively my whole life since I was a baby. My destinations got more adventurous as I got older and wanted to see new places. I've visited more than 70 countries over the course of my studies, work and leisure travel.
I've always liked to make things. As a kid I would take things apart to see how they worked. Eventually I got around to putting some of them back together. I love taking on new projects around the house or creatively, even if they are outside of my comfort zone.
Recently I decided to focus on offline skills, since I spend so much of my time on screens for work and fun. I'm currently diving headlong into sewing projects, making quilts, bags, dog collars, you name it. I haven't dabbled in garments yet, but we'll see where this slippery slope leads.
I'm based in Washington, DC, and obsessed with my dog, Daphne.
