Designed in Brooklyn and Made in DC, these cotton face masks are made to be worn, washed, and re-used. Face coverings can make a big difference in stopping the spread of COVID-19. Re-usable masks are good for the environment, too, reducing single-use waste. These masks are for personal use, and not medical grade PPE.
These masks are made of 100% cotton fabric and thread. Fabric ties make for a secure and comfortable fit, even during prolonged wear. A flexible aluminum nose piece reduces fogging when wearing glasses or sunglasses. Fabric ties measure 42” x ⅜”.
One size fits most. The pleated design fits most faces comfortably.
Masks ship free domestically from DC via USPS First Class mail (3-5 days), with the option to upgrade to Priority Mail (2-3 days) at checkout. Local pickup is also available! Orders are typically fulfilled within 24 hours.
This is the For-a-Nurse-by-a-Nurse pattern developed by Nursemade.co. Two layers of woven cotton have side pleats, chin pleats, and a nose dart for shaping. An aluminum nose piece allows for an adjustable tight fit. Cotton fabric straps tie around the head and will not degrade when washing at any temperature (unlike elastic). This mask does not have a filter pocket but can be worn over an N95 mask to extend its life. Thanks to the pleats and flexible nose piece this mask fits most faces comfortably. A snug nose fit can reduce or eliminate fog for people who wear glasses or sunglasses.
Mask front: 100% cotton fabric (design varies)

Please wash used masks regularly! Feel free to wash and dry normally. These fabrics have not been pre-washed, it's recommended to wash before your first use. Mask straps may tangle in washing machines and dryers, be careful when removing! You may also find using a mesh laundry bag helpful, but that’s certainly not required.
