Silk Road Stars for the #whatshadeareyou blog hop

I was thrilled to be included in this year's #whatshadeareyou blog hop with RJR Fabrics. I made a beautiful blue and white quilt with their Cotton Supreme Solids. The color palette was inspired by my travels in Central Asia almost a decade ago. The design is an original paper patter based on a traditional Islamic geometric motif that features twelve-, eight- and six-pointed stars.

Holding finished quilt outside with Daphne, the English Mastiff.

You can read more about my quilt on the RJR blog!

  • I left a message on RJR’s Blog but wanted to take the time to add one here too!! What a fantastic quilt pattern and it looks fantastic in blues….but the perfect thing is there are so many options to take this pattern in!! Can’t wait to see more….I may just have to put this on my every growing list!!
